well I think some other people may have missed the point. A fj24 is worth every bit the man is asking, for those who know will see it as a fair price, a complete 240rs will sell for 80-100k, the 24 is a key part of that car, tell me what fj20 powered production car sells for that sort of money. Stop insulting people we dont need to here it, Im sure you would be rather defensive if one of use took the piss out of your listing.

Thanks for the last comment yes we have an Aussie Piss Taker who has never sat in a 240RS Grp B Car has not got a clue about values.
A Millington Diamond Engine or BDG for an Escort with same power will set you back £25K and they are available of the shelve try getting a complete 240RS Evo engine ready to rally for 1/2 that value.
What pisses me off these guys hide behind Anonymous Names tossers like defdes probably sits at home in his Nissan Micra having wet dreams about 240RS anyhow traced him on others posts sent him an email but no reply probably to busy washing his pants before his mother sees them

Hey Bernie, if I had gotten an email from you I certainly would have replied. I guess the sarcasm of my initial post fell upon blind eyes. So sorry to have offended you and your RS motor, and really sorry I didn't receive your correspondence. It's just that I have seen them listed for just over half your asking price....but I guess you have something greater than the other ones I have seen posted. Good luck with the sale. And as far as "logging in", you can see who I am soooooo who really gives a f%*k? But that said, from now on I'll be sure to log in every time, just for you.

Sorry Bernie, wasn't letting me log in with that defunct email address (comcast was sold last year).
You can get me at berniesaballbag@yahoo.com though.
Glad you sold your motor, you must be stoked.
Oh, and moderators don't let you type profanity, because they know that's right where red-headed-neandrathal-barren rock island dwellers such as yourself will go when given the chance...oh but I didn't say Napoleonic...because given that chip on your shoulder, it sounds like your just a little tot who was picked on allot in the school yard. Am I wrong?.... didn't think so.

If he was picked on in the school yard, it would have been from a person sporting a rather small johnson, much like youself I suspect. Why must you continue to run people down, the world needs less negitive people who think that they know every thing and down any body else with a different opinion. Join the real world and get on with life.
Good on you Bernie, did this engine come out of the bmw.
Cheers Euan

^^^^^You know what, you are right. What started as a fairly benign (I thought) comment about his price has gotten more out of hand than I ever could have wanted or meant. But if someone starts with the name calling then...
I apologize to Bernie for my crass commentary, and others on the board who have given me good insights (and parts) into my FJ build.
This is a pretty helpful forum, usually, and I mean no more disrespect to anyone.

Hello Bernie,
I have been looking at your post and the interesting jovial banter emanating from the knowledgele types on here, and was wondering, when you said "sold to the outback", I will take it that meant it is coming to Aussie?
It wouldnt happen to be going to a guy with the initials J.S. here in Brisbane Australia would it??
I too have a Blydenstein 24 that was put into a small Datsun and was built to beat the works BDA Escorts, and it did so very well!
Strong little motors, mine needs a freshen up after a few years of no use.
All the best
