Response to Onward, drive the bastards back!

By the time word of the Setrusian intervention had reached Regent Davris, the initial line of 25,000, heavy on defense, would be reinforced by the 30,000 yet to arrive. A force of 55,000 now awaited the Boaam army. Upon hearing of the advance, the line would reinforce themselves with mercenary units purchased in the northern city. Strengthening them further with an additional 6,000 cavalry. A total of 61,000 troops stood in the path of the Boaamite force, with an additional 35,000 on the way.

Archers, Ashigaru spearmen, Light and Heavy Cavalry, Naginata Heavy Armored Infantry and Regular Infantry all stood in formation.

Legend:
Each square = 2,000 troops
Each Triangle = 1,000 troops

Green = Archers
Blue = Infantry Regular
Light Blue = Light Calvary
Yellow = Heavy Cavalry
Black = Chariots
Red = Ashigaru Spearmen
Dark Blue = Naginata Heavy Armored

As the enemy spearmen came into view, they would be struck viciously by the Chulom archery. Rabble banded together by words, it was unlikely that such disorganization would prove to hold any morale worth noting. The mages behind the army began to qork their magics, shielding the archers, themselves (One unit of ten mages), the Naginatans, and all but the very last corp of Infantry regulars who sat far behind the lines.

((Total of twenty corps, used all my spells for the month, each corp shielded from one volley of arrows))

Whatever infantry broke through the spearmen would face a pike wall. It would not hold long, but it did not have to. Reinforced by Naginata Heavy Armored troops and well trained Infantry regulars, the Archers would withdraw and move to the rear to regroup, surrounding the mages who went with. This left the Boaamite footsoldiers to deal with something unexpected.

The wall of Light and Heavy Cavalry to the west would break and sweep down upon the western flank of the Booamite army. Numbering in the twenty thousands, they would crush any opposition.

No losses from archery, Booams own spearmen riddled with bowfire, and the cavalry advancing like there was no tomorrow, the Infantry regulars would push forward, the entire army embroiled in a bitter stalemate, waiting for the arrival of the Maelstrom Warriors.

((OOC: Okay...I assumed something here. I assumed that since you were entering my territory that the preparations (spell protections) would be in place beforehand. I hope this map is accurate. If not let me know, and I'll adjust and repost if necessary. Also, I didn;t know how far the Maelstroms were from the line, but on your map it looked like it would take a small amount of time for them to get here....enough for me to make one movement. Again, if I misjudged, let me know. As a closing note, the group of Mages is in between the far rear Infantry and the corp of Naginatans right above them. I'm sorry I didn't put them on the map.))
