Response to Hold the Line! (Chulom) |
|
((OOC: To those of you reading, there will be a lot of discontinuity in this post. That is because Darren and I have talked about this extensively and calculated losses, and made sure that we understand one anothers strategies and where our troops are and where they're going.))
Upon seeing the Boaamite magic counter the ice, the heavy cavalry wheeled hard. Though outnumbered, they were significantly well armored and could withstand the pounding that they were about to receive. The light infantry continued on, past the cavalry blockade, and into the left flank of the archers and infantry.
The Chuloma infantry advanced, simply overwhelming the ashigaru spearmen of the Boaamite army in terms of skill, armor, and sheer number. The naginata heavy armored troops formed up behind the cavalry wall to help absorb the bloody nose they were about to recieve. Left running all the way, they would arrive just as the chariots broke through the massive wall of horse and rider.
The archers, upon seeing their flank being advanced upon, drew into the back of the infantry. This was to both give them space as the charioteers approached, and to secure the infantry from the initial attack.
Riders from the envoy of troops arrived. They were just below the hill....the maximum time to arrivalw as approximately ten minutes. Soon the Booamite army would face the overwhelming power of Chuloms lord, Lu Bu.
((Darren: Your spells are here, like we talked about. Nine castings used. Again, any questions? I'm here.)) | |
