Zhao Xe Jin of Chulom  (no login)

Response to Crushed.

Lu Bu disatched Xe Jin with command of a force of anger and retribution. His orders? To plunder every city in Boaam and occupy the country, destroying the military power completely.

Under the command of the fiery Chuloma were:

15,000 Light Cavalry
15,000 Heavy Cavalry
5,000 Infantry Regulars
10,000 Two-Hander Death Troopers
5,000 Naginata Heavy Armored Troopers
5,000 Ashigaru Spearmen
5,000 Horsed Archers
5,000 Archer Regulars

All told, Xe Jin was commander of a force of sixty-five thousand. The remainder of the army was sent to the capital, Pradush. Xe jin was to sweep the eastern coastal cities and then circle inland, plundering money from the local treasuries. However, Xe Jins orders were specific.

Xe Jin was not to spare anything except PEOPLE. He was to annex all financial assets available, but only that which was in the form of ready to spend silver. If the people resisted, then the remainder of the economy would suffer. First in the form of the "scorched earth" policy. Nothing of natural farmland would be left. Then, if resistance did not end, then one by one, houses and buildings would be fired.

However, the only time lives owuld be taken is when they attacked Xe Jins men, in which case the offenders would be slain. Great discretion was advised in using force against civilians, and Xe Jins first priority was to maintain the economic stability of Boaam. he only thing he was to bring back was silver, not stories of death and destruction. Other countries relied on Boaams economic stability, and those countries also traded with Chulom.

This was a tricky situation. Boaam would pay for the suffering they caused Chulom, but Bu also had to preserve good relations with the other countries of the trading world. Specifically, with Mohan and Kemis. Somehow, he didn't think Kemis would be a problem, so he sent a provision to Xe Jin, halting his advance until a second, sealed mandate from Lord Bu advised him to go forward with the invasion. Soon....it would be time.

In the meantime, Bu would speak with lord Takagana.
