~As soon as the ring was in place on her finger, the link between her and Gunter was forged. Immediately she knew his thoughts.

He shared and it hardly weakened him, so much power had he accumulated in the span of countless generations that he had lived.

Gunter was a powerful demigod. Or at least the equivalent.
Gabrielle was weak no more. Energy and health flooded into her body along with Gunter's love. Knowledge of a rune of magic also flooded into her.
Magic that her cage was not designed to suppress, so alien was it to any that those here knew....~
