Up until recently the main headlines were in regards to the pursuit of Alele the half minotaur half daemon bandit that was still a fugitive from the Ard Rhi. Then on his rout and disappearance, the headlines were all about the tournament and the various factions competing for glory. Now the headlines had settled on a topic, the ongoing troubles within Galen Thal. The thalian peoples, descendents of those who stayed behind after the Empire's departure, were still held to be kin (if distantly so) by most of the modern day citizens. And more significantly in some minds, it was the jewel of ancient times, it held a special place in the fantasies of the youth and in the memories of the very old. To have it under threat was enough to raise hot blood in a cold corpse. War talk was heavy. Traditionally trained warriors and soldiers began the muster in many corners of the Empire. The distant province would once again feel the tread of its ancient rulers.
