Dear Friends New and Old:
I am Sky. I have belonged and have been loved by the great old families of the Page's, Pariax's and the Dreadslay's. I have watched their children grow, their fathers die, and have seen them all laugh. I have shared the pains of marriage and the joys of motherhood with countless friends. I have had my share of loves and lovers, told and untold, but always true. I have been a leader and a follower in the politics of our home; shared my drink with all sides of the issue. I have been here when some of the worst tragities took place, but also in times of joyous spirits.
But I come back to you as Sky. Myself, all alone. My children grow and gone (hopefully coming back to visit), and no other family to call my own. I have nothing to keep me in any area for very long. So in wake of this realization, I decided to come home to see old friends and meet new ones. I have a good memory and it services me well, but if others will remember me, I do not know.
To those who do remember me:
I thank you for giving me some of the fondest memories, the hardest lessons, and the saddest stories that have shaped me to be who I am today.
So I return home, humbled by life but still proud and awaiting the next turn.
