Kurobikari Yamamoto,
I know of you as well. They say you are an even tempered man, moreso than many around here. What ever rumors say, your message was quite professional and I would consider it respectable. I thank you for putting forth your opinions and interpretations in an objective manner.
I would have you, and all others reading this, know that I am neither a zealot nor a criminal. I am a warrior, a soldier, by necessity. My clan exists to defend the interests, prosperity, and lives of our families. I fight for what I believe in, what I have pledged my devotion to, and nothing else.
You speak of Cypress Dreadslay's actions through what, in my eyes, are rose-tinted visions. Perhaps I just see it from a different point of view. But, to me, it's pretty damn set in stone. The man killed my father. Murdered him. Perhaps war in and of itself can be considered murder. But for what cause? How many children, like me, had to lose their fathers? Was it, in your good conscience, worth my pain? And the pain of so many others?
If Cypress is alive, then I will find him. And we will do battle. I loved my father, and I will avenge him. Or die trying. That is but one, albeit selfish, reason why I give allegiance to the Warlock Order. I know what a dangerous man he was, or is. No devil of worth ever lacked as sharp a mind as was his sword.
My sword serves the Warlock Order because I believe what they are doing is right. They can offer us something grand out of this graveyard of a home that has been wasted by the selfish few. To me, and those like myself, the Mutiny Alliance was nothing great. It's standard stood for what? It stood for war, for hate, for chaos. And, above all, it stood for murder. If the Warlock Order can stop them, once and for all. Then that is good enough cause for me to join them. I just want you to know where I'm coming from.
Finally, whom did he "liberate" the people of this ship from? And why were they so much worse than him? What seperated Cypress Dreadslay from those whom he overthrew? What were the names of this corrupt, decadent nobility?
Dark rumors abound about murdered friends, knives in backs, purges, holocausts, and intrigue. And lo and behold, who comes out on top in my father's day and age? Cypress Dreadslay. That should say something, even if some of the rumors aren't true. I don't know, but I'm willing to listen to you. Knowledge can not be gained by those afraid to learn the truth.
We should meet, Kurobikari, and discuss these matters further. Only know that my loyalties are to my clan, and the Warlock Order.
