"Union of styles may mean bigger profits for all"

Four very different bands are teaming up in a risky venture that could make or break all of their futures. Three popular - yet new - names that are instantly recognizable are Incubus, Powerman 5000, and Sisqo. The fourth, The Dragon, is the one that will be bringing this idea to life. Each of these bands save the last has enjoyed their moments of greatness early on, yet are feeling the inevitable drop of sales, as the populace grows tired of 'same-o same-o'. The Dragon's producers, "Mindbenders Inc", had this to say to the media at their press conference Friday afternoon.
"The public wants new stuff, new voices, new sound. But it has to be GOOD. That's what we're giving them. We've taken a piece of four styles that have little things in common, and we're going to bring them together in a big way."
The producer also mentioned later that they hoped that their union would also bring about a popular alternative to the highly violent products that most other musical talents seem to thrive on. They were careful to make no mention of names, but current favorites that fit this example are DMX, MTP, K-Dog, Ice Thugz, and various others.
Incubus and Sisqo's representatives were unavailable for comment, but Powerman 5000 spokesperson, Jonathan Stith, was very excited about the idea.
"There's no way this can go wrong, the contract is simply sweet. [We] won't be going about this the usual way, that's for sure. You guys are going to love what we do with this."
There was a crowd of young adults at the press conference as well, ranging in age from middle-school to post-graduate level. Though a few seemed skeptical, most were of the same opinion.
"This is gonna f---ing rock!" said Jimmy Bowens, an avid fan of all three groups. "I don't know about this Dragon thing, but Incubus and Powerman together? With Sisqo? It sounds weird, but I bet it'll be the s---."
Mindbenders Inc coordinator, Kevin Risato, also answered questions after the official opening of the concept.
"We're not doing this the normal way, so put your expectations aside. Besides, this is merely the beginning stages. None of the parties involved are tied down in any way, they're just tossing their talent into a melting pot to see what comes out. We hope to shock the country into realizing there's better stuff out there then what they're stuck with right now. We CAN do better."
For those unfamiliar with Mindbenders Incorporated, it is a relatively small company with branches in many divisions of entertainment. Though generally reserved and remaining behind the curtain with only funds supplied to loyal companies, this is their first venture to the public limelight. Sponsoring such entertainment divisions as Sony Electronics, Squaresoft computer products, IRY Television, and Dreamworks film studios, they are experienced in multiple fronts and have managed to remain successful while not widely known to the public.
More updates pending the payment negotiations between the parties involved.
