In a few days time the troops would finally be ready to move. The extra time Danhan had given them was proving to be highly beneficial. After hearing word of Manshoon's recent..."skirmish", Danhan's feelings toward the necessity of absolute preparation were reinforced. Of course he felt the attack was perhaps sloppy, but the importance of it was evident. If nothing else, it had provided Danhan with an important insight and the resources he required to begin a project of his own.
After a few minuets of writing, he handed two letters to a missive with some simple instructions and then returned to his work in the lower chambers of Drakken Keep. There was much work to be done if he wished his project to be ready in the near future.
The First message was delivered with haste by a higher ranking mage to Manshoon. Showing the appropriate respect upon delivery, he waited to be told to exit.
Manshoon,
I apologize for the delay in the march of our soldiers, but I assure you that the time has been well spent and you will not be disappointed.
I have of course heard word of your recent undertakings. I think it may have been somewhat irrational of you, but it is not my place to say such things and instead admite the results. A flight of so many dragons poses a grave threat. Your tactical abilities clearly carried you through it. I would have expected no less from you.
In any case, I have organized an "elite" group of our soldiers, although not as skilled as your own, to reinforce your depleted forces. Should you need them, they will be ready to come to your aid the moment you request them.

The second was delivered by a mage of slightly higher rank. A trivial difference in the end, but one which may have been appreciated. The missive delivered it to Archos in much the same manner. Even if it could not have been delivered personally, the missive waited to be dismissed.

I felt it necessary to compliment your obvious dedication to the shaky alliance that has been formed. Such neutrality is worthy of praise, and speaks highly of you. I am pleased to see that what I have heard of your character was not but bolstered rumors to raise morale.
It would appear will be fighting on the same side in the near future, I look forward to this opportunity. It will be something worth remembering I suspect.
Lastly, I apologize for the informality of his letter, I would have preferred to deliver this in person, but time did not warrant it. I am sure however, I will have the opportunity in the future to speak with you in person Until then, I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming battles.
