*The magically called storm starts to form around the Fleet they are protecting. Since they automatically take magical energy and turn it into thermal energy they know that major magic are being used in the area...after a short while of flying the area the skys around the Fire Elves erupts in sheets of fire that disapate before they ever reach the ground...each Fire Elf knowing that such a storm takes great energy and they must drain as much of it from the storm as they can safely without burning themselves out. One by one each Dragon Rider signals Lt. Terrel that he must get to safety or burn out. As each leaves the storm gets a little stronger. Finally only Lt. Terrell is left. The sky still awash in Fire as he is stronger then any in his command he circles collecting energy and disapating it before he takes his leave. At long last he takes a low flight towards the flag ship of the fleet and drops a satchell that his second prepaired. This is done well before the winds became to strong for his Elder Dragon to fly in.

Strong magic have called a storm we have syphoned off as much as we could safely. Currently I go to meet the others in my command we will return when it becomes safe to fly...

ooc: Since Fire Elves naturaly take magical energy and turn it into thermal energy they would realize that they were getting filled with energy as soon as it happened...since they can control the thermal energy once they were full they started draining of the magic as they filled the sky with fire....but they were unable to totally take the magic from the sky because two reasons the area was to great and the amount of energy it would have taken to create such a large tropical storm was to great (meaning the success roles were high). Yet the syphoning off of energy into the fire show in the sky did have an effect on the storm. First it delayed it and instead of being a real heavy and damaging tropical storm they reduced it to a mild-medium storm with less power. Also it gives Archos time to prepair for it. All of this can be done because the post said the storm was being created in the area of Archos's fleet...if it were created somewhere else and moved to meet them then the fire elves wouldn't of had a way to change the storm.
