Mutiny Alliance guerillas had been garrisoned across the city. Most defences had been concentrated along the elaborate set of trenches around the city, but various strongholds in the inner city had been established in the event of a blitz--- or an odd scenerio, such as this one.

Venway news and radio still flouded the airwaves with useless warning messages about the contaiminated water. eighty-five people had been hospitalized and were currently undergoing treatments for the unknown pathogen.

Snipers and machine gunners had been bunkered down in a five-story hotel. The hotel was a hotspot for tourist= before the Mutiny Alliance seized it. Now, almsot every window was boarded up and the doors were sealed with chains. They relied on gas lamps, rather than eletricity-- so very little light came from the building.

'Genocide,' a Vennish punk turned sniper peers through the scope to his brittish made rifle. His crosshairs lock onto Vera. The thing was just sickening, whatever it was. Definately not of Vennish orgin, or even human orgin, as far as Genocide was concerned. He pulls the trigger and fires off a silenced shot, aimmed for her head, in the streets below.

At nearly the same time, hidden machine gunners hiding inside the building made their presence known with a bark of machine gun fire raining down onto crowd below.
The spray of bullets was endless. Clipless maganizes issued by TMT had made Venway lethal, even moreso than it would have been otherwise.

Ten minutes later, a single Mutiny Alliance War machine tore through the streets accompanied by infatry. The vechile resembled a train in it's body-style. Deadly iron spikes surround the vechile on all sides. It steam-rolled through the streets to pursue the invaders. (well, if they are still around)
If the attackers weren't flattened, the black needles would impale them on contact and take them along for the ride..

In the aftermath, Genocide smiles as he peers throug his scope.
