| As the Warlock Order savaged the land of Odindrust, the naval power of the Mutiny Alliance wisely set sail......or did they?
In the minutes that led to the hours as the ships tugged away from the harbor and out into open sea, the commanders therein would meet their Moby Dick, so to speak. Massive radar readings would indicate aquatic life streaming straight up beneath them from a crevasse miles under the torrid surface. The readings only surrounded the ships more with the passing of every second. When mere moments had passed, the assault began.
As he stood from his perch, Parrish gave the go ahead, and the seige began. Massive blows rocked the hulls of the warships of the Mutiny Alliance, threatening to capsize a great many of them as the behemoth blue whales ran headlong into the side of the keels. The wizards communing with the beasts nodded their admission that the fighting had begun. More than likely, not too few warships would be lost to such tactics.
From the skies there then began a clouding, and in moments, lightning careened everywhere, striking poles, 16-inch gun emplacements, the deck, radar towers, comm dishes....melting huge holes in the plate steel of the excuricatingly formidable naval force. It was then that they came........
The machinations of nature gone awry......long dead abberations of shark and man. Talons clinging to the meter thick hulls of the Mutiny Alliance ships gave the platoons of White Warriors the ladders they needed. In droves they came to sack the ships, their razor sharp fighting instincts honed to do one thing....wreak havoc on those who had been labelled their aquatic aggressors. Trespassers upon their domain the Mutiny Alliance was, and as such, they would be punished. Those who came with the information were not at sea, and so, they would be spared.
Parrishs' eyes were closed as he focused himself, speaking in tongues unknown. The men of the shark rent ghoul and human alike limb from limb. Massive torsos, elongated arms and three inch claws that could tear open bulkhead doors, their "killer bee" tactic was once again displayed in the sheer number of shark-men.
In a matter of hours, no living thing upon the Mutiny Alliance ships would be anything other than the Sharkmen. Escape did not matter to the bestial apparitions, only that these massive hulking invaders never see the light of day. Those ships that would make it out would know the wrath of the Warlock known as Parrish DuTrent.
((OOC: Here's the lowdown on the Sharkmen. Aggressive fighters that take damage well enough to be an ample threat to any non-unique Character aboard those ships. [I.E. Cypress, Ethan and Rathian] They each stand roughly eight feet tall with arms that extend almost to their knees, giving them a superb reach. Circa five feet across at the shoulder they are as well. Darkness and shadow have no effect on their fighting ability as most of it is from smell and a slight form of extrasensory perception. Cold and ice don't phase them, but electricity does normal damage. Fire sends them into a blood frenzy where they gain enough adrenaline to tear off bulkhead doors and such with their talons. The claws are capable of rending plate steel if it's thin enough, otherwise, it's like poking a log with a very sharp sword. Their mandibles are lined with teeth similar to that of the tiger shark, capable of rending huge chunks of flesh from the victim and severing limbs as well. Limbs bitten off are usually swallowed whole.
The lightning dissipates before the arrival of the Sharkmen, and the whales move under once the Abberations attack. Once inside the lower decks of the ships, the Sharkmen will immediately attempt to mass burrow through the hull by shredding it with their talons. Sort of like Lemmings digging for water.
Anyways, that's the skinny. I leave the rest to everyone else. Play ball.)) | |
