Response to POI Booth lake

I have experienced the west end of the park but I am partial to access #17 Shall/Farm. Although not so far back in, I love the landscape. We have been back there 3 times now and plan our 4th in July. We have stayed on 2 different sites on Booth and both were good. One with a beach and shallow landing and the other was high on a hill and rocky. A must see is to paddle down MacCathy creek/Mole L. and into Godda's Lake.(pictue of Godda and site). We stayed there 2 nights and plan on it again this year... A truly tranquil experience.
A long paddle down to the far end of Booth to the ranger cabin is a good day trip. Be sure to walk the short trail behind the cabin to fill your water container with refreshing cold spring water(marked on Interior Map). Alot to do for a short journey!
