Hi everyone, poke my head i here now and then love the site ad you all have given me some good advice from time to time. Heres a long over due hello! Anyways noticed alot of map chat lately, topos, GPS etc has anyone ever checked out toporama? atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/english/maps/topo/map. Pretty good detail, all free, and they ca be saved to a memory stick, printed, disk, etc. I tried the gps in the interior thing didnt like it, found you still needed a compass and a good map. Anyways, so this site I just print off a topo of the area im going to put it in my map bag and head out with no worries of it getting wet or wrecked. Lots cheaper than the alternatives and then I can save my batteries for the bushwackin.
