I am guessing that all the "WOOOOOOOOOOO ... ing" is wishing for some wind as well as rain. Nothing helps break up the ice better than a nice blow, kind of like that warm 35km wind from the south I felt on my face this morning in Belleville.

Sunday afternoon, for the first time in over 6 months of complaining that the weather was "too warm", my son actually started worrying about the ice being out in time for our April 26th trip.

Maybe he really was focused on hockey this year. 8-)
