I'm trying to find the phone number to make reservations at the park, for some reason it's not in my 'little black book', nor do I see it on the front page of this site. Could some kind soul save me some time and post it for me??

The East Gate Office, West Gate Office, and Algonquin Park Information telephone line (705-633-5572) will NOT be operational from April 1 through April 13, 2008.

Day use permits may be purchased daily at the East and West Gates through the self-serve fee stations, and at the Algonquin Visitor Centre on weekends.

If you are planning to camp at Mew Lake Campground, you may purchase your camping permit at the self-serve fee station at the campground.

If you are planning to camp in the backcountry with access via the West or East Gate, you may purchase your Interior Camping Permit at the self-serve fee stations.

But that doesn't apply to the reservations office, does it? The reservations people are a separate entity from the Park.

In the off season reservations are run through the east gate I think..

confoosion reigns - I thought it was a contractor (CAMIS)
