Fire Wood re Rose Island

As I mentioned in another post, I'm bringing my small boat and motor and some firewood as I don't believe there will be too much available on Rose Island and I'll be too lazy (and/or tipsy...errr....feeling good...errr....drunk????) to go to mainland to find some, if any dry stuff can be found.

So if others want to bring firewood, I would be more than willing to transport it to Rose Island safely in my boat, rather than you putting it in your canoe.

If you are considering bringing firewood into the park from beyond its boundaries, please read ... http://www.ontarioparks.com/english/emerald_ash.html

We don't have that problem down here!! My wood is good, clean, insect free wood! Plus, I also buy firewood from this house in Whitney that I always pay a visit when I'm up that way. Pretty decent price too!!! Right next door to the Fresh Mart store behind Beer Store!!

No Probs with our wood ..

I'll be picking it up at the Father-in-laws in Bancroft.
Some nice Maple and Ash.
