Dropped in tonight to pick up some gear for Texas adventure and
akso per pack for trip in May as I'll have only a day to prepare when I return. Saw 7 deer walking in the slush which looked RATHER SOLID still
At their psi per hoof I figured most could easily walk to Rose island quicker than ice breaking your way
Must go but will be scanning AA will away and look forward to
some tall tales and hopefully all good news.
San Antonio is my next stop
for my first day on NO MORE FULL TIME WORK!! Thursday can't come sooon enough.
BE CAREFULL.. Hope to cross bows with a few this coming mid May
and later summer/fall so God willing all will return safely.
I am sure the water is much less forgiving in May than Sept
and there are a few step drops on Rose Isle

, away from lake is likely a wise choice if walking becomes tipsy
