1. All small lakes are ice-free (lakes in size-range of Provoking, Little Island, Harness, etc.)
2. Lakes which are, or are anticipated to be, ice-free today:
Booth, Brewer, Brulé, Cache, Canisbay, Clemow, Costello, Craig, Crotch, Galeairy, Grand, Kingscote, McGarvey, Nahma, Provoking, Radiant, Rock, Shall, Shirley, Tea, Tim, Travers, Two Rivers, Whitefish.
3. Lakes which are anticipated to be ice-free on Saturday:
Canoe, Joe, Littledoe, Proulx, Rain, Tom Thomson.
4. Lakes with partical ice coverage with large loose ice plates. With strong wind activity these lakes may break up by Sunday:
Big Crow, Biggar, Burnt Island, Cauchon, Cedar, Dickson, Greenleaf, Kioshkokwi, Little Cauchon, Louisa, Manitou, McCraney, Merchant, Mink, North Tea, Porcupine, Ragged, Smoke, Waterclear.s
5. Lakes which are ice-bound --- not likely to go out this weekend; there are no leads (breaks in the ice) across the centre that would assist with break-up by wind:
Big Trout, Happy Isle, Hogan, La Muir, Lavieille, Opeongo, Ralph Bice, White Partridge, White Trout.
