well here is an update as to our week so far. 1st off the wedding on Saturday
was great. we got nothing but positive feedback. Sunday we headed to Couples resort in Whitney. So far soo good this place is fantastic! we went into AP for the afternoon today. I wanted to start off on the right foot as the wife has never been to AP before. so we went right to the visitors centre and then we cruised 60 for moose. We have seen 3 since we arrived Sunday. We did hardwood lookout trail and I showed her my fav site at the rock lake campground. she seemed to like how the site looked and was willing to agree to make plans to come up to car camp there later in the yr if possible. we are planning on taking another day trip into the park before we head home Thursday night. Ill have pics to post when I get home. but now its hottub time! lol

Gee, if you get your wife hooked on backcountry camping, you and I will never get out there together again!
Maybe I'll get to yak with you at a Tigers or Colts hockey game, eh?

Wow thanks to all you who suggested Couples Resort earlier when I was thinking about camping! lol Couples was fantastic! We also took a couple day trips into the park for hiking ect but for the most part stayed on the resort grounds. But all I have to say is WOW. We had our own private hot tub on the deck Breakfast and Dinner included in the rate. the only thing that was bad was the fishing off the dock sucked. lol We topped it all off with horseback riding this morning before stopping at the Opeongo Store to pick up some hats ect... before heading back home.
What a great week. We plan on going back next year for our 1yr. Thanks again for the suggestion!
As for me I am going to try and get up to the park again on the May long weekend. This time probably just me and the dog and likely to the interrior!

Congrats on your honeymoon. You can't beat having a wife that enjoys the park. My wife and I spent our 25th last year on Lake Louisa and we will always enjoy the park. Sounds like you two will too. Again congradulations.
