What happened to the weather? I was thinking of going for a trip the last half of June (we'll go regardless of the weather).

Yippee!!! What an excellent forecast!!!! With this forecast, I'm sure to get some sun from June 27th to July 3rd!!!

Yep, 100% chance of weather.

One year I made plans to meet someone from another board at Big East Lake. As the date approached, the forecast got worse and worse. He asked if I was still going. "Of course," I said, "Weather happens. I'm not about to let a little cold and rain stop me." He showed up! I ended up paddling out in heavy wet snow, it was awesome.

Some of my favourite trips involve the worst weather.

Unforcasted ligthning storms on Little Eagle. The wife and I spend the night in the tent watching 3 of them pass thru. We drank wine from the tetra pack, and watched the show. It started at about 11 and lasted until approx 4 in the morning. What you gonna do?

Great! Leaving Saturday for 1 week. Cedar to Burntroot down into Hogan and back. Wondering if I'm going so see the sun at all hahahaha. Gonna be a wet buggy week!

The forecast was the 14 day outlook for Whitney.

One of my favorite memories is huddling under an overturned canoe with me daughter, we just made it ashore before a wicked hail storm. The weather forecast might let you know what kind of clothing you need, that's about it.

Well, maybe it'll let up a bit for my trip on the 23rd - 27th.

I've learned you just can't get worked up about the long term forcast - it changes so much.

Why that is a good forcast
1.The creeks should have plenty of water in them
2. no fire ban
3.less crowds
4.good sleeping weather
5.....

5.will extend the prime spring fishing

Woo-hoo!!!

We'd be sad if there was a fire ban... I think the campfire therapy has become a medical necessity.
