Seeing as I've gotten such helpful responses from AAer's I thought I'd try another on ya.
Has anyone stayed on (or been through) Iagoo Lake south of Tim Lake? It's so tiny I can't help but be curious. I'd like to include it as a stop on an upcoming trip. Any pics especially would be great (I know that ruins the mystique but that doesn't bother me).
You will find it hard to get good info on those low maimtenance areas. I have tried many times with only a few responses. When I choose one of those "spots" to go to, I just get there and am ready to expect anything...that's the whole fun of it, and you are probably the only soul around for miles.

Hi Joel,
Been through Iagoo back in 1990. Stayed on the campsite there, and my journal notes from that trip state there were some nice white pines at the campsite on Iagoo (I'm assuming that may infer old growth white pines). The portages are all uphill from Tim - Iagoo, and the lakes were all shallow and weedy - no game fish caught. The portage from Iagoo - Pezheki was very rough, and not 600 m but 1 km. From Pezhiki southward the portages were much better. Lots of blueberry bushes, but few if any berries that Summer in that location. Water very clear in Mubwayka, David and Butt L (aka Ralph Bice Lake now). From Butt we went west to the Tim River, and made it accross to Nipissing then to Cedar, then down the Petawawa.
I was in the Tim Lake area last week, many blueberry bushes seen along the sandy beach north in Roseberry and at the campsite and along portage between Longbow and the Tim River. All the berries were still green, just a hint of purple blush on the sunny exposed side of the berry - so they are still a week or so away from the first being pickable.
All the flies are out - blackfly numbers still high, equal to the number of mosquitos. Horse and deer flies are now abundant along shorelines/portages and even a few stable flies noted at the beaches and when paddling. Killed 1 no-seeum, expect their numbers to increase over the next few weeks.

Papukiwis doesn't have a site anymore. I have an older map that shows 2 sites on that lake believe it or not.
Thanks for the advice everyone - I may save Iagoo for spring when we'll have more luck with the rivers in the area.
