Oh yes.. I have tons of pics but will include a select few which I know the audience here will want to see. I want to make sure to upload them properly

as the size is important. J-Wolf.. there was not a stick of wood in the place or at the pit. A bit disappointing given we paddled in from Proulx through a downpour for the better part of a couple of hours. Having said that.. we've been in the bush a bit

.. and rustled up a dryish load to get the dankness out of the cabin. We were all kitted in decent rain gear so we were pretty comfy. There's a ton of firewood on the way to the fire tower and we also left behind enough for a good fire both inside and out. BTW, about the mosquitos.. we are a pretty hardy bunch and I only wanted to post so readers would know to be prepared. I don't like to bathe in muskol and I would rather tolerate the odd bite and I typically wear long pants and sleeves when I trip but for those who trip in shorts and tank tops.. I saw a few on my way out. As I was waiting for the water taxi at the top of Opeongo there was a bald guy in a tank top and cycling shorts and his girlfriend wearing the same gear. I casually mentioned the mosquitos on the trail and they blew me off as somekind of city slicker. An hour later, as they arrived back for the rest of their load, the girl was crying from them and buddy was looking for his muskol which was in the pack at the Proulx Lake end. I gave them each a mosquito net, as I was done with them, and sprayed them down with a half can of Deep Woods.
