I might have 2 nights in either little eagle lake or rain or daisy.I will be last minute thing and solo. This is just to recover from a big camporee. See Outdoor adventures Canada for more info on that. Anyways I was hoping for a bit of bass /pike fishing and want to know which lakes are the best if they have any? I will be very close to kearney so other access point are really not an option. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I'm like the Phantom. (I think that's it.)

Well, never spent any time on Magnetawan...just dropped the canoe, and paddled the 5 minutes to the portage.

Daisy...probably bass, too. All my husband caught there was a huge log, and that did not involve a happy ending.

I managed to catch a (small) pike once, but that was in Kitty Lake, access #17 area. I think they are definitely throughout the Opeongo system. I don't think they've infiltrated the west side of the Park yet.

Maybe someone can give you a fish assessment for Tim Lake or Rosebary.

Good luck getting a last minute site on little eagle, you usually need to book 5 months to the day to get the lone spot. Daisy, magnetawan, hambone &little eagle are all trout lakes and rain has smallmouth bass, if your going to rain l. try a trip into hot l. the bass fishing is hot!!!
