Can Anyone tell me what the site on Wright Lake, just coming off the 5305 M portage from Dickson, is like. We will be staying there next Fri night and I just want to know what to expect. Thanks

Somewhere on this site, whether on the forum or in the triplog section, I remember reading a short log of a visit two gentlemen made to that site for several days. You might do a search of the forum using "Wright" or look through the triplogs from the opeongo access. From my recollection it was a pleasant time that they enjoyed and there was little mention of excessive traffic from the portage right behind the site.
I just passed the site yesterday and again on Monday - quiet on all fronts. Not a lot of traffic on the cart trail - we saw only two groups on Dickson on the Monday and no one after that. That part of the park is much less travelled at this time of year. It is a good site and lots of good wood that is easy to get to. A little more private than Opeongo but not as much fishing opportunities.
