Our August long weekend trip was awsome! The Original plan was access point#1
day1: Kawawaymog, North Tea camp on Lost Dog
day2: Lost dog, Sisco, camp on Lorne
day3: Lorne to North Tea (west arm) and Camp
With all the info i was givin we decided to back track after day 2 instead of doing a loop. Didn't want to risk a rough paddle through North Tea with a 85lb dog in the Canoe. Still camped on all the right lakes on the right days. Worked out perfecly pretty much saw nobody day 1 or 2 (great surprise for a long weekend) and scored an awsome site on North Tea day 3. I probably should have asked what the portages were like....1945m Lost dog to Sisco is a rough one and the 700m from Sisco to Lorne is crazy (especially since in had rained) But what a trip to AP without some rough portages.

Glad to hear. I've always experienced minimal crowds around there, but what a beautiful set of lakes. I've heard Sisco and Lorne and that area is great for spring trout fishing. I'd like to get up there one year.
