| Sean, I recall you saying you and your family were heading up to Pog Lake without a reservation for a two week stay. How did that go and were you able to get a decent nonreservable spot? I"m thinking about doing the same next Thursday. Any help you can give me is appreciated. |

We went up the holiday Monday because a lot of people leave at that time. We showed up early and received a number. At 12 noon, they start calling numbers based on the number of people that have left. So if 20 people are standing in line and only 3 sites become available, 17 people are not camping that day.
We ended up with a big spot that would hold an RV and there was no where to hang a tarp. As well, no electrical hookup. We have a pop-up trailer so we had no probs.
If you are going up, go up early to make sure you get a good number.

Thanks Sean we are going to give it a try. We too have a small pop up trailer but are not concerned about the electrical hook up. We prefer the non electrical sites. Thanks again! |
