Does anyone know what time of day the Kearney Permit Office closes?

We don't want to have to drive back out from Magnetawan.

Before Labour Day, their hours are usually 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

After Labour Day, they probably will close at 5:00 pm, if past experience is antything to go by.

Nope, no link, and no phone number. They don't seem to like the public having a way to contact individual access offices. Wouldn't want us getting accurate information, I guess.

I know it from personal experience....having been at the office innumerable times over the years. And anecdotal information from another person from last year. (It's a long story....LOL)

I would expect that after Labour Day, the office would open at 8:00 am.

It's cute, really....there's usually a hand-written sign with the hours in the window.

Not much help until you get there and can read it. LOL


I swear, there used to be a "thing" that stated that access offices wouldn't issue you a permit if it was less than an hour before sunset, or darkness, or something. Which makes sense, and would be seasonal.

okay just called the park....

During the week the office is open from 7 am to 6:30 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays it is open until 7 pm.

We are headed up with the Crazy Campers so it's good to have a firm answer on the time.

Interesting....every time I've been there, the sign in the window says "7:00 am to 7:00 pm". (during the summer, that is.)
