Looking at a fall trip from Gate 6 to Gate 13(Whitney) Starting at Smoke Lake to Big Porcupine across to Bonnechere L to Pardee, then into Lake Louisa. Portage to Rock Lake into Galeairy L. I would like to know if anyone has done this route, and would 4 days be realistic?
Any other advise on the route would be great as well, and wondering if there is any chance of brook trout along this way.
Thanks
As for brook trout, the only lakes where you have a chance of catching
one on this trip is Big Porcupine, Bonnechere (but better in May), my
secret lake off of Rock Lake, and perhaps Galeairy but they are very rare.
Also, Farm Bay Lake near your destination point should also yield a
speck or two!

I'd do it in 5 days... but for only 1 reason... Lake Louisa is by far one of my favorite lakes and I'd take an extra day there.
It's a great route. Enjoy.
