Thanksgiving meal: roasting a mini-turkey (aka cornish hen) over coals contained in a simple reflector oven (V-folded aluminum tray)
Finished product - fireside coal roasted cornish hen, butter and herb mashed potatoes, fresh beans, stuffing, cranberry jelly and the final touch, Sawmill Creek Autumn Blush wine
Enjoying the evening glow after a great meal

Ever bake without an Outback oven? Just get yourself 2 pie plates, a frying pan, some twigs and hot coals.
Freshly baked poppyseed cake
Our last dinner overlooking Allan Lake (sitting on a cliff edge 40ft above the lake)
Gorgeous sunset
The night view from our site (purposely overexposed by 2 stops)
And now the kicker (and I apologize for this), this trip was in French River P.P. We decided to venture somewhere else besides AP to get away from the fall color peeping crowd and to take advantage of the open fishing season in this area.
