A while back, I was quite reluctant to comply with Bob McElroy's request that I keep up an RSS feed for the Algonquin Adventures website. I finally gave in to his request and dutifully maintained it over the intervening months.

Today I discovered "Wizz RSS" .. a spivy RSS Tracker and Reader. It's a plug-in to the Firefox web-browser.

It's shown in this screen-capture .. in an optional left-side-bar. It can be used as a free-floating window, if you wish.



I started looking around for other outdoor-related websites that have useful RSS feeds. I'm not coming across too many "with the little orange RSS logo".

Has anyone got favourites that they "subscribe to" and get worthwhile updated content from?

I don't have a list for you yet. I had spent a small bit of time trying to set up my own RRS feed back in the spring, but didn't quite have it right. In the next month or so I should be starting to work on content again and will include setting up the RSS feed as one of my action items.
