what a massive fluke. well, ive been absent from here
for over 2 years, decided to peak in to see what's up; at
random i click the 'bo missing' thread, scroll down at a rate
faster than i can process.. then suddenly i see my name.
2 years away and there i am, on some random post of this day.
cheers jdl- i appreciate that. and you're right- there have
been (not to toot my own horn) (though not to clog it),
some super contributers to this forum in the past who have
dissapeared. we don't talk of them, i agree. it's a bit
interesting. but good of you jdl to bring them up, mostly- to
bring it up that we forget. and you, too, have contributed
largly to aa, as i recall more than well (and that was 2
years ago..!). good to see you're still around. ohh.. by the
way.. happy.gif algoalex here. like bo, i have had some external
troubles, which have affected my interest with aa. bo, i hope
yours smoothen out fine. but was nice seeing that familiar
green tint around here, and also, a lot of your names. i think
i'll stick around.. but will change my handle..
Out in bc now, though do a lot of guiding thru algonquin and
temagami during my spring and summers. ontario is something
special, and don't think i'll find anything as brilliant
to trip through. that's a blood thing. u know.. i did my
first trip through the park. (like many of you). i hated
it. i threw the canoe off my head and beat the portage.
"anyone who likes this sh is crazy!!; i'm never doing it again!!!"
..with more passion than a rainbow. (that was on the carry
from sheriff to little island) happy.gif here i am, with an impulse
to trip as if to blink. something happened out there.
that's probably what i mean by blood.

anyone still heading out?

Hey Algoa,

It certainly is a fluke or maybe a little ESP. happy.gif

Good to hear from you. I hope all is going well for you in BC. I haven't really had a chance to do much tripping in AP the last couple of years, not that the want wasn't there, finances have keep me in the city but I have made it up to AP a few times for some spring trout and this October for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was was one of the best weather wise in years.

The Kawartha Signature Park for a couple of trips only because of the cost of gas this summer.

Nice to hear from you again. Keep in touch.

PS. I was wondering why I woke up and clicked on AA at 3:30 am, now I know. happy.gif

JDL, now That's a fluke. unless if, of course, you wake up plenty for aa;
and if my name is peppered all through the posts. in that case, we have
encountered nothing but course. :) and markus.. yes, i remember you!
and the day you were on your canoe hunt.. i notice on one of your pics
that along your boat there are park-lake names.. soon you'll be needing to
specify which reach of what lakes you've been. see ya round,

algoa
