I knew I had been through there....
if it is the same bend that I am thinking...we saw 4 moose at the bottom of the river on our way down for our spring fishing trip one year...must be a popular watering hole.
thanks Mike for the picture....it has got the juices flowing for sure!

Hmmm . . .

It certainly reminds me of the Maple Creek neck of the woods, up around Kawa and Totem, but it looks like a place with a bit of seasonal running water. Surely, it is in the north side of the Park, right?

You got me, Markus. I know you love that area, as do I, and that put-in looks so familiar, I'm convinced I've been there before. Here's another wild guess: Petawawa River, between Daisy L and Little Misty?

Nope not Crow River, or Amble du fond, or more correctly Amable du Fond
You're all thinking along the wrong line here;
Clue#3(Last clue) it is a lake, not a river or a creek or stream, but a lake.
Good Luck!

Yessirre, Radiant Lake it is.
I'm sure many people had visions of a sandy Radiant Lake in their minds, to not even think of the image as being Radiant Lake, in most cases, many thought it was a river or creek.
Looking back at Radiant Lake, as seen from the portage landing to Shoal Lake.
This is what the view was like, from the canoe in the shot above: Looking at the take-out to Shoal Lake(On Radiant).
