well the 32 day trip is in the toilet.
crap crap crap!!!
It has been whittled down to 16 days.

My employer isn't too keen on me taking such a long trip anymore. Can't say I blame her.
Times change. As well it isn't feasible this year for Joan to take that much time off either.
We are hoping next year, we can swing a long trip...we'll see.

I'd like to thank Karior and Swede and others here online, for their advice. We had made some adjustments to our itinerary, but now that all seems moot. It was a good route, and I'd like to keep a record of it, 'cause one never knows. We will are now deciding to either shorten the same itinerary or do a completely different one. If we shorten it, we'd be going down the Crow River at forks, instead of going left or up it towards Laviellie.

Sorry to hear about the change in your trip; I know how you've wanted to do such a trip for a while now. Look on the bright side though, the shorter trip means less room for food, so you can now bring an extra Wells or two
