Nope, not weed Lake(although it might seem appropriate in that picture. LOL!).
Neither is it North River or Allen Lakes.

For some reason that picture reminds me of the put in portage to Tecumseh on the way to Gilmore. It has been a long time since I was there but that was my initial thought.

No correct guesses yet;

Not White Trout Lake
Not Shippagew or Blue Lakes
Not Tecumseh Lake
Not Pen Lake, as I recall Sterrr, the landing(coming off of the portage from the Galipo River), does not have a boardwalk, and was a rocky landing, not boggy looking.

Sean Wins!

mmmmmm.....Techinically, that's not it Sean, but damn you are so close.
That is Birchcliffe Lake in the distance, and on the other-side of the lake, Birchcliffe creek leaves the lake.
Where the picture is taken, is the landing from the portage to Calm Lake(1,010m), that runs down an esker(I think it is an esker, or so I was told).
The unnamed creek that you see here, empties into Birchcliffe Lake from Calm Lake.

Walking atop the esker, Birchcliffe Lake in the distance
