Has anyone noticed what they have done with the Cell tower at the Whiskey Rapids trailhead? Pretty neat! They've covered it with a plastic-like material that looks just like bark, and on the top they have attached "branches" with needles and everything....It looks a little different than the surrounding trees but certainly looks better than a big metal tower! I took a few pics that Ill post later...I was impressed!

I saw it last summer, at least you cant see it from the road unless you are looking for it!

When I saw it last fall, I half expected it to stand up and walk closer to me when my back was turned - it looked just like a disguise that Scooby Doo would wear.

Does it look anything like this?

I drove past it last summer and thought it had been moved or taken down. I totally did not see it. Now I know why. I think that's much better.

That looks pretty neat. wish all cell towers looked something like that. Next thing you know the guys from ax men on the discovery channel will chop it down.

That is so great. It's one thing to have a solution for hiding the towers, but to actually see the time and energy being spent on this is very nice to see. I assume the 'phone companies' are paying for this. Good job.
