Great Plan

Rob and I likely will head in to Laveille on the 10th or 11th

First night Big Crow ( even with a late start and for sure water taxi )

Then I'm thinking 2-3 nights upper part and two-three nights lower Laveille
or perhaps Dickson

What are you padlling for a canoe so we could spot you?


P.S. Good women/female partners are at a premium ,
so GOOD LUCk in your quest
for the better half as a partner

If we end up with the Markus/Joan curse and it rains a lot mid May.

Look for us under the large blue tarps ( maybe green or brown ones if I
can find a deal on those colours )


Starting to think that the days of 10 mil plastic over the canoe instead of tent
makes for a much lighter portage but then I remember a few rain/wind bound
days ( almost a week one time ) and figure the extra 7-9 lbs is worth the effort

Raccon, last year in late April CTC had tarps on sale 12'x12' for $5.00 and very light, first time taking one in and it worked great as a wind break in camp...

hey, hey, i might come in from the dickson portage sat may 9th. and north to lav. but if i knew your plans better, i could travel from big crow and into lave along the same route with you lads. cut down on taxi charges??

Man, there are tents that weigh about the same as that piece of 10mil (Thick!) plastic....No 7-9lb action;)
