What time do the First Come First Served sites become available? If I arrive at 3, and try to get one of these sites at Achray am I too late?

as far as I know, as soon as the office opens you are free to go, but people might already be there form the night before
most sites are first come first served!!!!!

when i stayed at pog lake a few years ago the system worked as follows:

-when the office opened at 8am, a sign up list began
-at 12 (the last possible time that the people who were already staying on the non reservable sites could renew) the people who had put their name on the list would return to the office and could pick which site they wanted from the available sites in sign up order

since achray is not as popular, you will probably be able to get a site on the week days as a first come first serve, not too sure about weekends as a lot of families from the surrounding towns like to come and camp their especially if the weather is nice. i would suggest that you call 1 or 2 days before leaving and the office staff might be able to give you an estimation about availability
