Thanks, Barry, and the ABR Executive Committee (I assume) for your thoughtful and well-reasoned response to the road corridor options. I have always accepted the presence of logging in the Park and was never been put off by the logging roads. They have been a pretty ubiquitous part of interior camping for as long as there has been a Parkng. Most unwelcome, though, are the sounds of logging activity, the beep, beep and roar of heavy equipment and even the whine of chainsaws, that are entirely out of place and thoroughly annoying (unlike the distant rumble of trains, that was almost felt more than heard, that I actually found I missed after they were gone). So, I especially appreciate your focus on holding operations to a "seperation in time" standard where their proximity to canoe routes is otherwise unavoidable.
