Can anybody out there tell me if I should bring a fishing rod in to Booth Lake?

This will my first time in this area, what kind of fish in this area and is there some nice sites on Booth.

Can I buy a permit at acess 17 ?

There is pike bass and lake trout in booth lake. The site in the narrows on the far side of the island is a nice site. For fishing it all depends on the time of year you go in to fish
