Camp Sites on Big Bob Lake May 22 2009 at 9:01 PM		Blair from IP address 76.64.12.47

Hi Everyone, I'm looking at possibilities for a short weekend trip off Tim Lake. I don't want to do the Rosebary route, so I'm looking at the concept of base camping on Big Bob Lake, with day trips on the Nipissing. Has anyone camped on Big Bob and liked it? Thanks for the help, Blair

We made a day trip to Big Bob and had lunch on the northernmost site. It was really nice. Big and open with a nice beach.

Was camped on the far east site last week due to wind. Open site which would be great in the bug season. Due to some possible contamination of my water filter I had the misfortune to crap my pants. The gods wouldn't give me 30 secs to pull on my boots.So when you see someone portaging out in their longjohns ( had no extra pants ) don't ask any questions.
