| I have an idea. It takes a bit of pre-planning but brew it yourself stores are a great way to bring beer into the park. They do most of the work.
If you go in and say; I want it to taste like "Brand X" (or any other beer). They can make it happen. You have to do the actual mixing of the ingredients but they will take care of the measurements, fermentation, bottling ect.
Most beer brewing stores can put the beer into everything from kegs, glass, cans, and plastic bottles (choose your size as well).
All this for a fraction of the cost....
My last batch, 12 cases of glass bottles was $120. Tastes like O.V. but $400 less than buying it at the beer store. The only extra cost is the cost of the containers (you can use your own to save $).
If you really want to brew your own on the cheap. You can get beer recipes off the internet and brew it (legally) at home. With a little practice and very little effort you can perfect your own home brew and put it in your own containers. You can usually brew 12 cases for under $50.
Ether way a hell of alot cheaper than The Beer Store

I've done this more than a few times. I found it can be a hit and a miss.
make sure you're capping them properly, or your beer will go skunky pretty fast |
