Heading in relatively late on Friday for a 2-night trip. I'm aiming for Rose Island, but if that's all taken up, any suggestions on sites from the AA'ers on here? Going with the girlfriend so ideally a site with lots of sun and decent swimming would be great.

On the same side where the Barclay estate is, there's a site shortly before that has a nice beach should the water be low enough (actually can access it from the Booth Rock trail), and 2 sites past the Barclay estate on the same side, has some good rocks for swimming/jumping. There used to be a rope swing, not sure if it's still there? This site can actually be accessed as well following the old rail line.
