That fire was most certainly not a "Guncho approved" fire. I guess you didn't want to scare her on her first interior trip.

Nice shots and thanks!

Good show, Chris. happy.gif

I'm guessing that that is the best site on the lake? (I kinda figured it was.)

Yummm...food pics....drooool

Did you take the antlers home?

Did you get over to the portage to the Nip?

See any moosies?

Yeah, it's an "annoying" trip, what with all the loading/unloading/walking/loading/wee bit of paddling/unloading over and over again, eh?

Looks like such a nice, normal girl...what's she doing with a crazy fire-bug like you? happy.gif

Glad you guys had a good trip. You'll be embarking on more duets in the future?

Yeah we checked out all the sites. The one right by the portage to the Nip is hands down the best site. Sad to see they cut the big tree down though that stuck out of the rocks near the water. The site on the Northeast side was ok but not very good water access and the site on the southside was pretty crappy looking.

We left the antlers on the stump as a warning to all who pass. hoo haha

We were going to have lunch on the Nip side of the portage but the bugs were pretty bad. Wouldn't want to be on that river in bug season.

No moose but the otters were cool!

Yeah it was kindof annoying. You'd finish the a portage, look across a small lake and oh, there's the next portage.

I lied when we met and said I was cool with small enviromentally friendly fires then we went camping and it was like, "Ooops! How'd that log get on the fire?"

We'll do it again for sure!
