Someone on hear once showed the plans to make a contour yoke. Does anyone know what the thread was called?

I purchased a ash yoke for my newest Oldtown pack canoe for $35 with discount
( $40 regular)

It will be installed as removable wih bolts and washers/wingnuts



For that price you be hard pressed to make your own?

Many stores carry these at a decent price. The first yoke I bought ws the same
yoke about 20 years agon and I think I paid $49! so the price today is great


I got mine at MEC but many other similar and as good stores carry these yokes

BTW: a Hooligan pad for the yoke at $12.50 is a suggested add

Sorry Laurie but that's not the one. The one I have seen on here is about 39" and was either a solid piece of Ash or Cherry.I have a feeling that it was someone who made a cedar canoe.In the mean time I will keep searching on past posts.

I have found one that was made by Mike Burns but not enough detail for me. I know there is another one. It showed the layout lines etc.

Nope,Sunchaser81.I have looked at that one. It is the best I have seen so far though but still not the one I'm looking for. I know there is one on this forum somewhere.
I think I might just go with that one.
