On the 16th August my wife and I are going for 4 days with Canadian relatives on our 3rd Algonquin trip. The last being in 2003 which was unforgetable.

This time our general route is taxi up Opeongo Lake - Merchant - Big Trout - Otterslide - Sunbeam - Canoe Lake.
My question is , is there likely to be sufficient water to canoe on the river stretches in the following two routes.
Otterside Creek
Vanishing Pond Lake - Blue Jay Lake.

A final question - at this late stage would it be likely we would be able to change a night on one lake to another lake?
