My buddy planned us a trip out of rain lake in late august. We wanted to go to Moccasin Lake but it was full so we ended up booking a couple of nights on Bandit Lake. I have not been able to find any real info on Bandit so if anymore know's anything it would be great.
Also, the Algonquin Park fishing guide states there are no fish in Bandit but there are brookies and smallmouth in Moccasin. Anyone fished in or caught anything in Moccasin???
Any info would be appreciated and long live the park!!!!
Bandit is a nice small lake. If I recall, there are two campsites, one on an island on one on the mainland. The one on the mainland is right next to the portage so there tends to be a bit of traffic. The other is a bit more private, but faces the other campsite. Both are okay, not great, but certainly not the worst I've seen
