I never did see a posting about Jeremy's triplog in the forum,
So I thought I'd make a thread and post my comments here;

I think I'll avoid that area too, doesn't sound too appealing..maybe a solo might be in order? I'm not sure what time of the year you did this trip. There's no 'month' mentioned! Was it June or July? good write-up though, no pictures needed..Good job!

The trip was July 24-26. looking back on it the weather was the worst influence on the trip. had we been basking in the 'normal' weather conditions leading up to this trip i think things would have been nicer. However hasty I may have been in recording the trip i think that the emotion was better captured. I love being on the water and in the park. i would have turned around and done it all over again had I been able to resupply and dry off for a day or so. I look forwards to the next opportunity this fall. Perhaps if there were an AA meet someplace i could make that the excuse / reason for heading in.
