Darren Dare has posted his latest trip-log on his website ... Fall 2009 Trip Log ... four days of relaxation on Tim Lake.

"We hung around camp for the rest of the day and evening. I managed to get the telescope calibrated and up on the last night, but with the amount of stars visible in the sky, it was hard to located specific celestial objects in the clutter of stars. The Milky Way was brilliant on this night and it stretched from one horizon to another across the sky. Truly spectacular star viewing, even with the naked eye."

Hi Darren,

That's twice now you've been to the same access point in the same year, and all the way from Montreal to the west side of The Park! Does Access#2 have some special attraction for you? A good read, and loved your mist filled shots, and the spiderweb ones were nice too. Thanks for sharing dooood! Was good to chat with you again(Should hook-up next year), and to meet Julian(Karior) as well. Sorry to hear you had no luck with the moose. It happens. Sometimes I've gone an entire season of multiple trips without ever seeing a moose...quite maddening actually. They are such magnificent, gentle creatures(ok, except in September/October!). hopefully next year, they will cooperate better. Cheers! happy.gif

Hey Markus thanks.....and it was good seeing you and Joan again too. I don't mind being skunked in the moose once, but if it happens on my next trip, I'll cry.
A whole season without moose? Perish the thought.
